Military Guidelines

(Independent Company/Provincial Regiment)

1) Each member should possess a general knowledge of the French and Indian War and the role of the English Army in that war.

2) Each member should have a working knowledge of the history of Fort Loudoun and the Independent Company and/or Provincial Regiment.

3) Be willing to equip self as rank and file member of the Independent Company or Provincial Regiment including both garrison and campaign equipment as necessary.

4) Be knowledgeable and/or willing to learn military drills such as the 1757 drill, artillery drill, etc

5) Willing to be clean shaven

6) Be knowledgeable of command structure and demonstrate military courtesy during program hours.

7) Demonstrate the ability to handle all weapons and tools in a safe manner.

8) Adopt a persona from the Fort Loudoun rolls.
