Located convenient to the visitors center and reconstructed Fort Loudoun.

There are 30 tables, most with grills, scattered along the lakeside and in a wooded area. The tables are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Picnic Area

Centrally located in the picnic area, a restroom facility is available which also houses a soft drink machine and pay phone.

Picnic Shelter

 In addition, there is one picnic shelter with eight tables underneath it. The shelter may be reserved by rental. The rental fee is $30 for one-half day (8 AM until 2 PM or 3 PM until sunset) or $40 for all day (8 AM until sunset). Reservations can be made by calling the park office during business hours (8 AM until 4:30 PM daily) at 423.884.6217.
